Walk-in || Guest Relation Officer(Receptionist- Adyar)

Position:

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner, and guide them to the appropriate department or service.
• Assist patients with registration, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-up coordination.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the relevant departments.
• Maintain a positive patient experience by addressing queries, offering assistance, and escalating concerns to the appropriate authority when required.
• Provide information about hospital services, departments, doctors, and available facilities.
• Ensure patient details are registered accurately in the hospital management system in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
• Verify insurance details and assist patients with insurance-related documentation as per hospital policies.
• Support bed allocation and admission processes in coordination with the nursing and admission teams.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and transport services to ensure patient comfort and operational efficiency.
• Maintain departmental records, files, and front office documents accurately.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient confidentiality standards, and customer service protocols.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager or department head.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 0-5 years of experience

  in hospital / healthcare / hospitality customer service preferred.
• Freshers with excellent communication skills may be considered.
