Job Description

Overall management and supervision of the company's finance and accounts operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
Preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statement.
Review of books of accounts, general ledger, trial balance, provisions, accruals and monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
Handling GST compliance, including GSTR filings, ITC reconciliation, GST returns and resolution of GST-related queries and notices.
Handling Income Tax Returns, TDS computation, payments, return filings and coordination for tax audits.
Coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors and tax consultants for audits, financial statements, audit schedules and closure of audit observations.
Coordination with banks and financial institutions for working capital limits, CC/OD limits, term loans, renewals and other banking requirements.
Preparation and submission of CMA data, projected financial statements, stock statements, debtor/creditor statements and other financial documents required by banks.
Monitoring bank limits, loan repayments, interest calculations, banking covenants and timely submission of periodic bank statements and documents.
Preparation of annual budgets, financial projections and cash flow forecasts, including analysis of actual performance against budgets.
Monitoring working capital, cash flow, fund utilisation, receivables, payables and inventory to ensure effective financial management.
Monitoring debtor ageing, overdue collections, creditor ageing and timely reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts.
Review of inventory accounting, stock valuation, physical stock reconciliation and identification of discrepancies.
Monitoring profitability, gross margins, operating expenses and cost control, identifying opportunities for improving financial efficiency.
Establishing and monitoring internal financial controls, accounting procedures and processes to minimise financial risks and discrepancies.
Liaison with internal departments, banks, auditors, consultants and government authorities for all finance, taxation and compliance-related matters.
