Intern Associate Medical Summarization

3-month internship and training program

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and extract relevant medical information into the prescribed format.
• Identify and summarize significant medical conditions relevant to life and disability insurance.
• Analyze medical reports to identify mortality and morbidity risk factors based on established guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency while reviewing and entering medical information.
• Develop knowledge of medical terminology, medical conditions, and insurance summarization processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and comply with applicable data privacy guidelines.
• Meet quality standards and productivity targets with guidance from the training team.
• Participate in training sessions, assessments, and feedback discussions to improve performance.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to organizational policies and process requirements.
  

Requirements

• Graduates or postgraduates from clinical streams such as Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or Allied Medical Sciences.
• Graduates or postgraduates from Life Sciences streams, including B.Sc./M.Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Bioinformatics, or related disciplines.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic typing skills and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and work in a process-driven environment.
