What you’ll do Ship features end-to-end – Build new functionality in our React (Next.js) + NestJS stack, from database schema to polished UI. Prototype with LLMs – Wire up, prompt, and fine-tune large-language-model endpoints to power smart outlining, contextual suggestions, and real-time AI collaboration. Design for delight – Translate Figma mocks (and sometimes napkin sketches) into pixel-perfect, accessible components that feel effortless for users. Iterate fast – Spin up proofs-of-concept in hours, gather feedback, and refine. “Done > perfect” – but you circle back to make perfect later. Own quality – Write clean TypeScript, meaningful tests, and clear PR descriptions; hunt performance issues across the stack. Hack on ideas – Pair with founders in whiteboard sessions to invent features we haven’t thought of yet. Your voice matters as much as your code. Learn in public – Document decisions, share learnings, and level up your teammates as you level up yourself. You might be the one if… You’ve built at least one substantial project with React (or similar) and Node/NestJS (personal, academic, or professional). You’re LLM-curious – you’ve played with OpenAI/Ollama, prompt engineering, or vector search and are eager to dive deeper. You sweat the details: loading states, a11y, keyboard shortcuts, micro-animations. Command line, Git, Docker, and PostgreSQL aren’t scary words. You thrive in ambiguity, ask great questions, and default to action. You care about users and can articulate the “why” behind every line of code. Bonus points for experience with: GraphQL, WebSockets, Slate/Lexical/ProseMirror, testing libraries, or design systems like shadcn/ui.
