Role Description: The Investment Banking Analyst is responsible for supporting deal execution, financial analysis, and strategic advisory activities within the investment banking division. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, conducting market research, and assisting in the development of client presentations and investment proposals. Working closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams, the analyst contributes to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other corporate finance transactions, ensuring high-quality deliverables and informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include performing financial modeling and valuation analyses, preparing pitch books and client presentations, and conducting due diligence on potential transactions. The Investment Banking Analyst will research market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights to clients and senior management. They will also support internal reporting, deal structuring, and project coordination throughout the transaction lifecycle. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and highly motivated, with a strong interest in finance, corporate strategy, and capital markets. They must be able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders. This position offers exposure to high-profile transactions and the opportunity to develop advanced financial, analytical, and strategic skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory is an advantage. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel. Knowledge of corporate finance concepts, accounting principles, and capital markets. Experience with data analysis, market research, and financial reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently when required. Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
