Internship Opportunity: Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering Intern Location: Vjaitra Air Mobility – R&D Facilities, IIT Delhi Campus (Sonipat, Delhi NCR) Duration: 3 Months (Extendable based on performance) Stipend: Paid Eligibility: 3rd / 4th Year Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering Students About Vjaitra Air Mobility Vjaitra Air Mobility is a deep-tech aerospace startup building India’s next-generation eVTOL Air Taxi, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Aircraft, Air Ambulance platforms, and Advanced UAV systems . The company operates within the IIT Delhi Startup & Innovation Ecosystem , focusing on certified, scalable, and sustainable air mobility solutions. Internship Role & Responsibilities Selected interns will work closely with Vjaitra’s core R&D and design team on real-world aerospace programs: Aircraft conceptual & detailed design (eVTOL / UAV / Air Ambulance platforms) Aerodynamic analysis, sizing & performance calculations Structural design & basic stress analysis CAD modelling (Fusion 360 / CATIA / SolidWorks) Propulsion system understanding (Electric & Hydrogen-based systems) System integration & subsystem layout Prototype development, testing & validation support Technical documentation and design reports Skills & Requirements Pursuing B.Tech / B.E in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (3rd or 4th year) Strong fundamentals in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft structures Hands-on experience or academic exposure to CAD tools Basic understanding of UAV / eVTOL concepts is a plus Passion for aviation, innovation, and real-world aerospace development Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D startup environment What You Will Gain Hands-on experience on India’s first patented full eVTOL aircraft design Exposure to Hydrogen Aviation & Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) programs Mentorship from industry experts, ex-defense & aerospace professionals Internship Certificate & Letter of Recommendation (based on performance) Opportunity for Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for outstanding interns Who Can Apply 3rd or 4th year engineering students from Aeronautical / Aerospace streams Students eager to work on cutting-edge aerospace R&D , not just simulations 📩 How to Apply: Interested candidates may send their CV + brief statement of interest to info@vjaitra.in with subject line: “Application – Aerospace Engineering Internship | Vjaitra”
