As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF PM ECRG program at VIT-AP University, your primary role will involve contributing to the development and demonstration of an integrated device for Lab-on-chip Microfluidic Separation and Plasmonic Detection of Blood-borne Biomolecules. This is a full-time on-site position for a duration of 3 years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. You will be expected to have a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Nanoscience, or similar disciplines. Additionally, you must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, or GATE. Ideal candidates for this role would possess experience in areas like Biomedical, Nanotechnology, Microfluidics, and Biosensors. Knowledge of lab-on-chip technology, plasmonic sensors, MEMS fabrication, and analytical instrumentation will be advantageous. Familiarity with cleanroom processes, spectroscopy techniques, and a passion for interdisciplinary research and device development are desirable skills. The fellowship for the first and second year is 37,000/month plus 10% HRA, while for the third year, it is 42,000/month plus 10% HRA.
