Role Description We are looking to hire a passionate Software Engineer to join a team that develops an enterprise-level software solution for video surveillance. The Software Engineer will work in collaboration with other R&D functions and participate in all software engineering lifecycle phases, including, requirements analysis, design, and architecture, programming, release, and sustaining. The Software engineer will join the effort of developing new system capabilities, features, and new technology within a complex distributed system that involves advanced video and data management at scale, backend services, databases, and integration with other FLIR and 3rd party devices and solutions. Role Description We are looking for a skilled Automation Software Test Engineer with strong manual testing experience to join our QA team. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for testing our Windows-based Audio/Video Management Software (VMS) through both automated scripts (using Ranorex or similar tools) and manual test cases. The role involves maintaining automation frameworks, executing test plans, logging bugs in JIRA, and supporting CI/CD processes via Jenkins. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Knowledge of audio/video compression and encoding technologies. • Exposure to IP CCTV Cameras and Video Management Systems. • Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting for test data validation. • Familiarity with Linux OS is a plus. • Experience with performance and security testing.
