Job Summary Virtual Captains is seeking a motivated and target-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our growing team. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospects in international markets (US, UK, Europe), understanding our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and scheduling discovery calls for our sales team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in international lead generation, prospecting, and is highly skilled at initiating meaningful conversations with potential clients. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify, research, and develop qualified leads across the US, UK, and European markets. Utilize various channels—LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking events, and industry forums—to source and engage potential clients. Understanding ICP Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine and fully understand Virtual Captains’ Ideal Customer Profile. Target relevant segments and decision-makers, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Pipeline Management Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM to track leads, interactions, and follow-up activities. Organize daily tasks and outreach efforts to optimize efficiency and improve conversion rates. Discovery Call Scheduling Conduct initial outreach calls and emails to gather information and qualify leads. Effectively communicate the value proposition of Virtual Captains’ services to persuade prospects to schedule discovery calls with the sales team. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to share insights on lead quality, market trends, and campaign effectiveness. Provide feedback on prospect pain points, objections, and competitor positioning to refine messaging and strategies. Target Achievement Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for discovery call scheduling and new opportunities created. Contribute to the overall growth of the international sales pipeline. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if experience criteria is met). Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in international lead generation, prospecting, or sales. Market Knowledge: Familiarity with US, UK, and European markets, including cultural nuances and business etiquette. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences. Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho), Microsoft Office Suite, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools. Analytical Mindset: Strong research skills to identify target prospects and determine potential fits.
