Job Dimensions:- · The Institutional Manager – North (Government Business) will be responsible for driving and expanding Viggo’s Government and Institutional sales portfolio across North India. The role involves handling central and state government institutions, PSU hospitals, medical colleges, autonomous institutes, and large public healthcare systems. · The position requires end-to-end ownership of Government Business, including market development, tendering, GeM portal operations, empanelment’s, price approvals, institutional negotiations, and execution through distributors. · This position will report to the General Manager Key Responsibility Areas:- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual Government / Institutional sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives for North India. Develop and execute Government Business strategies for Central Government, State Government, PSU, ESIC, AIIMS, Medical Colleges, and Autonomous Institutions. Identify and track tender opportunities (open, limited, proprietary) through GeM, e-procurement portals, and institutional sources. Manage complete tender lifecycle including pre-bid preparation, technical documentation coordination, price strategy, bid submission, negotiations, and order execution. Drive GeM portal business, including product listing, pricing approvals, bid participation, reverse auctions, and order closures. Build and maintain strong relationships with Government officials, hospital administrators, procurement committees, biomedical departments, and key decision-makers. Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely supplies, documentation compliance, installation support (if applicable), and payment follow-ups. Conduct regular institutional review meetings, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking for Government accounts. Develop annual sales plans, forecasts, and institutional budgets aligned with national Government Business strategy. Ensure submission of Field Sales Management Reports, tender trackers, GeM dashboards, and institutional MIS to the National Business Manager. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical business conduct, and applicable Government procurement norms. Any other responsibilities as assigned from time to time Knowledge, Skills, abilities & other requirements:- Should Be Graduate, Additional Qualification in sales and marketing will be preferred, should have expertise in surgical consumable selling Positive attitude. Demonstrate a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitments and professionalism. General understanding of Device Market. Minimum 5 years of sales, marketing or other commercial business experience. Strong relationship building skills. Excellent time management, communication, Customer services, and interpersonal skills. Excellent people, communication (written and verbal), negotiation and facilitation skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
