We are looking for a young and creative video editor cum videographer capable of working independently and having the following skill sets:-
- Necessary Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Audition/Other sound editing tools
- Should have the ability to create high-quality videos and churn out high-impact ideas.
- Understanding of current video trends, compression settings, formats, and platform requirements.
- Should be able to create both short-form and long-form videos.
- Platform-specific video editing knowledge (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories) - especially for portrait-first design and platform-specific duration/format guidelines.
- Should have the aesthetic sensibility and ability to appropriately incorporate eye-catching transitions, graphics, text overlays, and animations that enhance the story and drive engagement.
- Ability to conceptualize and storyboard videos before execution - especially for campaign videos, member profiles, or reels with a narrative arc.
- Knowledge of ambient mixing, royalty-free sound sourcing, and wildlife-appropriate soundscapes that don’t overpower visuals but enhance immersion.
- Experience in captioned/subtitled storytelling for mobile-first video formats.
- Bonus: Experience in using and working with video cameras and content creation.
- Bonus: Awareness of copyright, public domain, and ethical considerations for wildlife and nature footage (especially relevant in conservation content).
- Portfolio or work samples are mandatory.
