Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for academic programs, online learning platforms, social media, and promotional activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to create engaging educational and promotional videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for courses, lectures, webinars, events, and promotional campaigns.
• Add visual effects, graphics, animations, and subtitles to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with faculty, content creators, and the media team to ensure alignment with academic and branding requirements.
• Maintain proper video storage, file management, and version control.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, including social media, YouTube, and LMS platforms.
• Ensure high production quality while meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video editing and motion graphics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Media, Film Editing, Animation, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing; prior EdTech or academic video experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Basic knowledge of sound editing, color correction, and motion graphics.
• Ability to understand and translate academic or research content into engaging video formats.
• Strong creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience creating educational videos, e-learning modules, or academic documentaries.
• Knowledge of Yoga, Wellness, or Naturopathy content is an added advantage.
• Candidates residing near Kengeri, Bengaluru/ Banglore, preferred for ease of commute.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
