Video Editor

Overview

PENNEP is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join Client news team with a primary focus on editing podcast-style video content. The ideal candidate has experience working with fast-paced editorial content, understands storytelling for digital platforms, and is comfortable using Filmora and DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form podcast video content for publishing on YouTube and social media platforms.
• Sync audio and video tracks, add lower-thirds, transitions, captions, and other visual elements as needed.
• Collaborate with the content and editorial teams to maintain consistency in style, tone, and brand identity.
• Manage post-production timelines to ensure quick turnaround without compromising quality.
• Organise and maintain a structured video file management system.
• Implement feedback quickly and efficiently to meet publishing schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Filmora and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of podcast video formatting and visual storytelling.
• Basic knowledge of audio editing and cleanup for speech-heavy content.
• Good sense of pacing, music, transitions, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple edits simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in a news or media organization.
• Understanding of current affairs and editorial sensitivity.
• Familiarity with YouTube content optimization (thumbnails, captions, etc.).

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
