About the Role

Nexgen360Digital is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our on-site team in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling and be passionate about creating engaging videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and other online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually appealing videos.
• Add transitions, effects, subtitles, music, sound effects, and graphics as required.
• Create short-form and long-form video content based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand creative requirements.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms and formats.
• Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, style, and visual identity.
• Select suitable music, footage, graphics, and other visual elements for projects.
• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, social media trends, and content formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Visual Communication, Digital Marketing, Film, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Video Editor is preferred (Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio may also apply).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, audio, and visual storytelling.
• Good knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and work independently.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• A portfolio or sample work is an advantage.
