Role Overview We are looking for a visionary Vice President – Engineering to lead our engineering teams and accelerate our business growth. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing delivery excellence, driving innovation, and building high-performing teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments—Sales, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and RMG—to shape Calsoft’s future. Role Summary Accomplished technology executive with 15+ years of progressive experience, evolving from deep hands-on engineering in infrastructure technologies to a leadership role driving digital transformation and business outcomes. Adept at managing large-scale engineering teams, shaping strategic technology vision, and delivering client-focused solutions across storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and AI/ML domains. A proven leader with the ability to scale delivery organizations, drive innovation, and contribute directly to business growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Vision Provide strategic and technical leadership across engineering and product development teams. Shape the technology roadmap in alignment with business objectives and market trends. Inspire, mentor, and build high-performing, cross-functional teams across locations. Represent engineering in executive forums, contributing to overall company strategy. Engineering & Delivery Excellence Lead end-to-end software delivery with strong governance over timelines, budgets, and quality metrics. Drive adoption of engineering best practices in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable cloud-native architectures. Establish robust engineering KPIs to measure and improve delivery performance and client satisfaction. Technology Strategy & Innovation Oversee initiatives in cloud transformation, software-defined infrastructure, AI/ML implementations, and data engineering. Evaluate emerging technologies and drive R&D efforts to enhance Calsoft’s technology offerings. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within engineering teams. Business & Client Growth Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, and Business Development teams to drive revenue growth. Engage with key clients and stakeholders to build strong, long-term relationships and ensure delivery excellence. Contribute to the P&L of the business unit through efficient operations and expansion of services. Team Building & Culture Champion talent acquisition, leadership development, and retention strategies. Foster a culture of transparency, inclusion, accountability, and high performance. Lead with empathy and adaptability, navigating through change and organizational growth. Qualifications & Skills Required 15+ years in software/infrastructure engineering with 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Strong foundation in infrastructure technologies: storage, virtualization, cloud, networking, and security. Experience in Storage, Networking, Virtualization, AI/ML delivery and data-centric engineering strategies. Proven success in leading engineering or delivery units in mid-sized tech services organizations (300–3000 employees). Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong business acumen and experience managing customer relationships and account growth. Preferred Prior experience with clients like Dell, VMware, Cisco, HPE, or similar. Experience in building or transforming global delivery centers or practices. Demonstrated success in growing a service line or business unit with clear revenue impact. Exposure to edge computing, telecom technologies, or cloud-native product development.
