Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Python Scripting Experience: 7+ Years Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. 7-10 years of relevant professional experience. Strong understanding of Agile methodology and related tooling. Must-Have Attributes: Expertise in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipeline design, and implementation. Strong knowledge of Network Operating Systems with experience in Control/Management or Data Plane for Switches and Routers. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins. Strong experience in Shell Scripting and Python Programming. Good understanding of integration with Testbed and Test Frameworks. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and work in a cross-functional environment. Technical Skills (Category-wise): 1. DevOps Tools & Automation: Hands-on experience with Jenkins , GitHub , Jira . Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines . Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. 2. Programming & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Shell Scripting and Python Programming . Ability to write automation scripts to integrate DevOps processes. 3. Network & System Administration: Experience with Network Operating Systems (Control/Management or Data Plane for Switches and Routers). Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching . Experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure. 4. Cloud & Containerization: Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP . Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , and container orchestration. 5. Testing & Integration: Experience integrating Testbed and Test Frameworks in a CI/CD environment. Understanding of automated testing methodologies in DevOps. Roles & Responsibilities: Understand, analyze, and design scalable DevOps solutions based on requirements. Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery. Automate and optimize software build, deployment, and monitoring processes. Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth integrations. Implement best practices for network automation and configuration management . Stay updated with industry trends and emerging DevOps technologies. Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization within DevOps pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software releases and deployments. Day-to-Day Activities: Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficiency and reliability. Develop and enhance automation scripts for build and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices. Manage infrastructure configurations and troubleshoot network-related issues. Conduct regular performance tuning and optimizations. Participate in Agile development cycles and provide DevOps-related inputs. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile-driven environment. Self-motivated and proactive approach to identifying and solving issues. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
