Responsibilities Take accurate measurements of buildings, sites, and vacant lands using basic surveying tools (measuring tape, laser distance meter, total station, etc.). Record site dimensions, boundaries, and topographical features neatly in measurement sheets. Measure and record existing road widths, gradients, and alignments. Support in preparing basic sketches or diagrams showing existing road conditions. Prepare hand sketches or conceptual layouts of buildings or site plans based on field measurements. Translate rough ideas or site conditions into simple design sketches that help visualize space utilization. Maintain organized records of measurements, sketches, and on-site notes. Coordinate with the design and drafting teams to convert hand sketches into CAD drawings. Assist in preparing reports, dimension sheets, and site layout summaries. Key Skills (for freshers) Basic understanding of measurement units and scaling. Willingness to learn field surveying and sketching techniques. Good observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to read simple drawings or maps. Clear communication and teamwork.
