Role & responsibilities Quality: Monitors the performance of all products, basic troubleshooting, and analysis of the same. Provides feedback related to product performance to customer and Corporate team within the organization. Prepares and shares periodic technical and product performance monitoring reports on or before the scheduled dates. Identifies the technical issues related to application operations and initiates, recommends for corrective and preventive actions. Raises CCARs as per Vesuvius norms, submits reports and provides necessary feedback to customer. Be responsible for implementation of Lean practices in plant: - Work with shop floor assistants, team/section leaders to implement 5S - Value Stream Mapping - Improve SWI, Work combination table. Delivery: Manages the application process in any or multiple product segment. Responsible for completing the application cycle as per the agreed deliverables as mentioned in scope of work of the Contract. Being the frontline customer interface, coordinates and manages the relationship with the operational management team from customers side and provides clarifications / problem resolutions to customer related to operation. Manages Supply chain / Inventory Management Achieving OTIF Ensuring 100 % compliance on pre planned preventive maintenance schedule. People: Leads a fairly large group of shift supervisors/Technicians to deliver the refractory application services. Coordinates with the Contractors to ensure on time availability of resources. Trains, builds and retains a performing team of technicians to deliver operational excellence. Cost: Focuses on improving the operational efficiencies through resource optimization and achievement of set business targets (e.g. Specific consumption, waste reduction, lean inventory, control overtime etc.) to improve the cost competitiveness. Safety: Implements and ensures the adherence to Vesuvius safety standards at the respective contract site through continuous awareness creation and close monitoring. Product Marketing & Technology: Analyse and understand the need of each customer [technical, commercial, application] and propose solution. Collaborate with the account managers / commercial managers to prepare the technical proposals Prepare marketing presentations & selling tools, conduct technical discussions with customers to convince them to buy / evaluate Vesuvius products. Develop process and norms to monitor performance of all slide gate/Tundish products being used at different steel plants. SWIs review and technical audit during site visits. Organise Trials of new products collaborate with Engineering and Sales team to understand sites need as per specific application. Make trial protocol and performance evaluation tracking To spend enough time at customers application sites to analyse Vesuvius and competition product performance and document the same properly. Presentation of Vesuvius Product Launch tools [brochure, product marketing presentation] and for new business. Preferred candidate profile BE / B. Tech (Production, Mechanical, Ceramics, Metallurgy) 4-6 years of relevant hands-on experience

Key elements are Vesuvius Zero Accident Vision, Energy efficiency/management, Water Management, Waste Management, LCA (Life cycle assessment), assessment of value chain partner in sustainability perspective. Key Result Areas: Ensuring effective Toolbox Talk is performed at the beginning of every shift by Team Leader/ shift supervisor. Leading Line PPS reviews and escalating all high risks. Collating all Safety audits and Risk Assessments Performing Safety Audits PPE supply chain management Injury Protocol First Aid Management, Visibility of Road Map & SSIP at essential places. Display of various Infographics / Safety Posters and SWI wherever required. Implementation of Permit To work 3. Other Responsibilities: Conducting orientation or training on HSE, engaging all requisite layers of the organisation. Monthly reporting platform management, Internal reporting and Group reporting. Collaboration with cross functional team to manage roadblocks and delivering consistent performance. Preferred candidate profile BE/BTech (Engg.) with ADIS/PDIS or M Tech in Safety/ Environmental Engineering & Knowledge on Local Language (Telugu). Min. 5 years of work experience
