As a Senior Risk Consultant at Extreme Event Solutions, you will be part of the Business Development and Client Services (BDCS) Team in Hyderabad, India. Your role will involve supporting clients in India by leveraging your detailed knowledge of extreme event management products to meet their modeling workflow needs. The primary focus will be on assisting clients in understanding their risks and maximizing the value from the products and services they license from us. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare Facultative and Treaty data for different countries and regions for modeling. - Apply Insurance & Re-insurance policy conditions and analyze client exposure data against different perils. - Quantify natural catastrophe risk using catastrophe modeling software. - Maintain clients' Turn Around Time and ensure quality standards are met. - Understand and interpret losses to prepare various reports as per client requirements. - Manage deliverables, assign work to team members, and audit/review their work. - Support risk analyses for consulting projects and client support. - Provide day-to-day client support on using Verisk's software platforms and understanding catastrophe models. - Respond to client queries promptly and collaborate with internal teams for accurate resolutions. - Assist in on-boarding new clients by providing training, workflow design, and interpreting model results. - Work with business development and senior management teams to develop client-specific objectives. - Support sales efforts in a technical and pre-sales capacity. - Act as an ambassador of Verisk to clients and prospects. **Qualifications:** - 6+ years of experience in the catastrophe modeling industry. - Experience working with (re)insurance companies or brokering firms. - Hands-on experience with Verisk's Touchstone / TS Re software. - Understanding of CAT Modeling losses and policy structure in the (re)insurance industry. - Strong attention to detail and superior communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL. - Programming skills in SQL, R, Python are highly beneficial.
