With a structured design and execution process, and a strong emphasis on detailing, NOW is expanding its on-site execution capabilities. The Site Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring our premium designs are executed flawlessly, within timelines, budgets, and high-quality standards. Role Overview The Site Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all on-site activities during the execution of residential interior projects. This includes managing contractors, verifying measurements, ensuring quality control, maintaining timelines, and acting as the primary technical point of contact on site. This role demands strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure designs are executed to perfection. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision & Daily Monitoring Manage end-to-end site operations from start to final handover. Monitor daily progress of contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, modular installation teams, painters, and vendors. Ensure work is executed as per GFC drawings, specifications, and design intent. Maintain daily site logs, work reports, and photographs. 2. Technical Execution & Quality Control Cross-check all drawings received from designers. Verify dimensions, clearances, and alignments before and during execution. Ensure the correct materials and hardware are used as per BOQ and specifications. Identify and resolve technical or structural issues at site. Maintain quality standards across modular installations, carpentry, civil, electrical, and finishing work. 3. Measurement Verification & Coordination Conduct initial and final site measurements. Verify measurements before production release for modular and loose furniture. Coordinate with the modular factory and vendors for accurate fabrication inputs. Prepare measurement sheets for billing and contractor payouts. 4. Timeline & Project Management Prepare and maintain project execution schedules based on design timelines. Ensure each phase (civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, modular installation, painting) adheres to deadlines. Identify delays and proactively solve bottlenecks. Provide weekly progress updates to the project manager and management team. 5. Vendor & Contractor Management Coordinate and supervise all contractors working on site. Manage their work allocation, productivity, discipline, and quality. Ensure all safety protocols are followed. Verify contractor bills and quantities based on actual work done. 6. Client Communication & Site Meetings Join client visits to explain site progress and technical details. Present issues, alternatives, and solutions transparently to clients when needed. Maintain a positive relationship with homeowners throughout execution. 7. Snag Management & Handover Prepare snag lists during and after installation. Ensure thorough snag rectification before handover. Conduct final quality checks with the project manager. Deliver a clean, well-executed site that reflects premium standards. Skills & Requirements Education & Background Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. 2–5 years of on-site experience in residential interiors (mandatory). Technical Skills Strong knowledge of: Modular kitchen and wardrobe installation Civil work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing False ceiling, tiling, painting, lighting Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, GFC sets, and technical specifications.
