Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Sales Professional to lead and grow fertilizer sales across assigned territories. The role primarily focuses on B2C sales to farmers , with occasional B2B engagement involving dealers, distributors, and institutional buyers. The ideal candidate will have strong field exposure, deep market understanding, and proven leadership in agri sales. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development Drive fertilizer sales through direct engagement with farmers (B2C focus) Develop and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner relationships (B2B) Identify new markets, villages, and customer segments Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Market & Field Operations Conduct regular field visits, farmer meetings, and product demonstrations Understand crop patterns, soil conditions, and seasonal demand Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and farmer needs Support product launches and promotional activities Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with farmers, dealers, and agri influencers Address customer queries, complaints, and post-sales support effectively Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams for timely delivery Reporting & Planning Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates Plan beat routes, territory coverage, and sales strategies Provide insights and feedback to management for business improvement Key Requirements: 7+ years of experience in agri sales (fertilizers / seeds / pesticides / agri inputs) Strong exposure to B2C farmer sales ; B2B dealer handling experience preferred In-depth knowledge of crops, fertilizer usage, and rural markets Proven track record of achieving sales targets Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned region Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Agribusiness / Science / Business MBA in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage Preferred Skills: Experience managing territories or sales teams Knowledge of local farming practices and regional agri markets Ability to conduct farmer meetings and demos confidently Strong planning and execution mindset Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary (based on experience) Performance-based incentives Travel allowance and other benefits Growth opportunities in a growing agri enterpris Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
