ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Design Engineer to join our team and shape the future of cutting-edge products. This is an opportunity to work on challenging projects, drive creative engineering solutions, and influence product development from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead projects that combine technical excellence with visionary design. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead research and ideation for new product concepts and methodologies primarily for: Core Aviation Infrastructure (Hangar, Hangar Doors, Flight School, Simulator Centres, Helipad, Heliport, Vertiport) Maintenance & Access Solutions (Aircraft Maintenance Docking System, Aircraft Maintenance Step Ladders/Stands/Trestles) Ground Support Equipment for MRO Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Enhance and optimise existing products, assemblies, and manufacturing processes. Perform engineering calculations manually and through software tools. Develop detailed 3D models, simulations, analyses, and optimised designs. Fabricate and evaluate prototypes, addressing design issues and risks. Continuously improve internal engineering practices and processes. Maintain precise engineering documentation and records. Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency. Engage with stakeholders, project managers, and clients to ensure project success. Resolve technical challenges while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Generate reports and insights to enhance production and design efficiency. QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Design Engineering (mandatory) M.Tech (optional, preferred) TECHNICAL SKILSS Expertise in Creo Parametric (Must) Proficiency in Tekla Structures (Must) Knowledge of Autodesk Advanced Steel (Optional) Familiarity with FEA tools like ANSYS, NASTRAN, StaadPRO (Optional) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite CERTIFICATIONS (Mandatory) Creo Parametric Professional Certification Tekla Structures Certification EXPERIENCE 3–5 years in mechanical equipment and structural design. Proven track record in designing and developing complex product assemblies involving multiple materials and manufacturing processes. Experience in Mechatronics product design is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of design standards, including GD&T, FMEA, DFM , and relevant standards ( IS, DIN ). SOFT SKILLS Excellent computational, analytical, and spatial abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication and presentation skills. Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and accountability. Ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage time efficiently. JOB LOCATION & WORKING CONDITIONS Based in New Delhi office 5 days/week , 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Travel to client offices and project sites (India & overseas) as required ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must possess a valid passport or be able to obtain one within 3 months of joining.
