Business Development Manager – Global Accounting Services Company: Valorega Research & Analytics LLP Location: Remote (India-based, working US/UK hours preferred) Reports To: Managing Partner (Krishna Dev) Role Overview We are seeking a sharp, experienced, and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our international accounting services vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring global clients (startups, SMEs, e-commerce brands, and CA firms) through outbound and inbound channels. This is a senior role that involves full-cycle sales ownership, from prospecting to closure. This is a pivotal role at Valorega, offering significant autonomy, impact, and future leadership potential as the business scales. Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition: - Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure - Execute outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, cold email, Upwork) - Respond to inbound leads and conduct discovery/pitch calls - Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and conversion funnel Market Development: - Research and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) - Develop and iterate high-conversion messaging - Identify and pursue channel/partnership opportunities (e.g., with CFOs or agencies) Sales Operations: - Maintain CRM/lead tracker - Coordinate with internal accounting team for solutioning and scoping - Generate proposals and manage contract closures Ideal Candidate Profile - 5–10 years of experience in international B2B client acquisition in accounting/bookkeeping domain - Excellent spoken and written English; persuasive communicator - Strong familiarity with Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot/Zoho CRM, and cold outreach tools (Apollo, Instantly, etc) - Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and target-driven
