Introduction Little Spartans runs gross-motor skill development classes at various locations in Chennai ( Annanagar, Adyar, KK Nagar, Kilpauk, Mahalingapuram, T Nagar ). The job entails handling a group of 10-15 children in the age group 1.5-10 years , either working alone or along with another sports coach, to impart physical skills using Little Spartans training methodology & lesson plans. Job Details The applicant is required to manage the group by introducing the activity, impart physical activity & game skills, keeping the class lively, managing conflicts, handling teachers, and performing class-based administrative duties . The job requires the applicant to be - resourceful - excellent in communication (mostly English but also with other Indian languages) - great with kids - lots of patience - healthy & fit - know sports skills The job will require the applicant to be physically active during the class . It will be an added advantage if the applicant possesses dancing & singing skills. It is preferred if the candidate has a 2-wheeler to commute. Work Hours This is a part-time job. On successful application, the candidate will be required to come for training at our center in KK Nagar. Training shall be either mornings or evenings and the candidate will be required to make themselves available for all the training sessions assigned to them at whatever location (within Chennai) available to them. These training sessions are aimed at getting the candidate ready for the next school academic year which starts from July 2025. Once the academic year starts, successful candidates will be posted to different schools as per requirement. The work hours shall be in the mornings only. Candidates from any educational background can apply. As a coach, you will be required to Assist children in performing physical activities such as running, jumping, playing games, etc. Follow lesson plans provided to you and impart physical development activities such as fitness and games for young children. Ensure safety of the children by assisting them as required, rendering first aid (basic training shall be given), etc. Candidate Requirements: Must be <25 years of age. Must be physically active & fit. Must not have any health problems that will prevent them from engaging in physical activities. Must have a cheerful disposition and a positive attitude. Must be committed and punctual. Additional skills like singing, dancing, sports, etc. are welcome but not mandatory. Must be willing to travel around Chennai to various playschools.
