Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Linux Server Migration Administrator with a minimum of three years of experience in Linux system management and migration projects. The Migration Administrator will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end server migrations, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and post-migration stability. Daily tasks include performing OS upgrades, handling cross-platform migrations, troubleshooting complex issues, validating compatibility, and optimizing system performance. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to streamline migration processes, document procedures, and implement best practices to ensure smooth and secure transitions across environments. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Linux System Administration , with hands-on experience managing and migrating servers across environments Deep understanding of OS upgrades, data migration tools, and cross-platform compatibility Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in live migration and post-migration scenarios Experience with infrastructure management, automation, and backup validation Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and remote teams Minimum of three years of relevant experience in Linux server or migration operations Comfortable interacting with customers via chat and calls , providing clear technical guidance and updates
