Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a User Experience Designer. The User Experience Designer will work closely with product, engineering, and customers to understand workflows in construction and manufacturing accounting and translate them into intuitive product experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research and usability testing, creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and delivering clear visual designs for web-based applications. The role also involves applying design thinking to complex problems, refining information architecture, and iterating designs based on data and feedback. The Designer will contribute to design standards and collaborate across teams to ensure a consistent, accessible, and user-centered product experience.

Qualifications

• Strong User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex workflows through user-centered design.
• Experience conducting User Research, including interviews, usability tests, and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Ability to create clear user journeys, wireframes, and interaction patterns for web applications.
• Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers in an agile or lean environment.
• Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and design systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing B2B SaaS or workflow-heavy products; familiarity with finance, ERP, or operations tools is a plus.
