Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai / Bangalore for a Director of Pharmacy. The Director of Pharmacy will oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while implementing strategies for efficient pharmacy benefit management. Key responsibilities include leading the pharmaceutical care initiatives, optimizing medicine utilization, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. The role involves mentoring the pharmacy team and contributing to the organization’s mission of advancing healthcare through innovation. Qualifications Proficiency in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care Strong expertise in Pharmacy and Medicine, ensuring safe and effective use Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management and optimizing healthcare operations Sound knowledge of healthcare regulations and pharmaceutical processes Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team effectively Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences (Master’s or Doctorate preferred) Proven experience in pharmacy leadership; prior experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting is an advantage
