Job Title: Backend/API Developer Location: TechM Chennai ELCOT Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on Microservices architecture using SpringBoot. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservices. You will be responsible for developing robust APIs and ensuring seamless integration with front end components, while adhering to best practices in software development. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain microservices using SpringBoot framework. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and resolve issues as they arise. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and SpringBoot framework. Proficient in RESTful API design and development. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence). Understanding of security best practices in API development. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack). Banking domain prior experience.  Qualifications: BE or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7 10 years of professional experience in backend development. Proven experience in developing microservices using SpringBoot. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
