Job Overview: We are looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our in-house software development team. As part of a startup building a comprehensive retail ecosystem, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of core projects, learn new technologies. This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, can work in a very small team, and is eager to take on responsibility across the full development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js Work with PostgreSQL and SQL to manage database operations Implement and maintain secure JWT-based authentication systems Use Git and GitHub for version control, code reviews Troubleshoot and maintain LAN-based application deployments (basic networking understanding is a plus) Take end-to-end ownership of features and modules, ensuring timely delivery and quality Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and code quality Technical Proficiency required in: Node.js, Express.js PostgreSQL, SQL JavaScript (ES6+) JWT authentication Git and GitHub Basic LAN/networking knowledge Exposure to or hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a plus Key Soft Skills required: Has strong learning ability Comfortable working in a small, agile team Demonstrates ownership of assigned tasks Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year Location Type: In-person Work Location: In person
