Key Responsibilities: Accounting Duties: Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings. Liaise with auditors and maintain compliance with financial regulations. Monitor cash flow and financial reporting systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (e.g., ledgers, journals, invoices). Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Generate management reports to track budgets, expenses, and financial performance. Calculate and file tax returns (income tax, GST/VAT, payroll tax). Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes. Collaborate with departments to prepare budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget adherence and report variances. Adhere to accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and company policies. Maintain confidentiality of financial data. Administrative Duties: Oversee office operations (supplies, equipment, vendor relations). Assist with HR tasks (onboarding, records, employee queries). Maintain organized physical/digital filing systems. Coordinate meetings, travel, and company events. Implement and improve office policies and procedures.
