We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Union Jack Club, British High Commission, New Delhi The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and hygiene with a knowledge of British food, from traditional pub fare to modern British dining. Responsibilities: Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in preparing and executing creative and delectable dishes with precision and attention to detail. Take charge of a section in the kitchen and ensure the timely preparation and plating of dishes according to our high-quality standards. Maintain food stock, inventory, ordering, ensuring the availability of necessary ingredients and notifying superiors of any shortages. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Track and minimize the wastage Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel. Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution. Knowledge of British cooking and multicuisine techniques , kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Main Purpose of Job The British Embassy is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced Barista/ Server to join its hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, delivering professional table service, and supporting the Embassy’s catering and hospitality operations. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain discretion and professionalism at all times. This position involves working closely with Embassy colleagues to ensure smooth daily service for staff and guests, as well as supporting a wide range of high-profile events, meetings, and receptions hosted at the Embassy. Roles and Responsibilities Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including speciality coffees, teas, and soft beverages to Embassy staff, visitors, and guests. Table Service: Provide courteous, efficient, and professional food and beverage service during official functions, meetings, and day-to-day operations. Event Support: Assist in the set-up, service, and clean-up of receptions, lunches, dinners, and other official Embassy events. Ensure smooth execution of hospitality services in line with diplomatic standards. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Previous experience working in an international organisation, diplomatic mission, or high-profile hospitality Cafe.
