Role

Owns the design system and the devotee / staff experience: research, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and design-to-code hand-off with the React / Tailwind team.

Must-have skills

· Figma mastery: components, variants, auto-layout, tokens / variables, prototyping, Dev Mode; design-system governance

· Design system with tokens mapped to Tailwind CSS and a React component library (shadcn/ui, Radix); Storybook familiarity

· Hands-on HTML / CSS / Tailwind; can prototype in React and review front-end PRs for fidelity

· Accessibility: WCAG 2.2 AA, screen-reader testing, contrast tooling; Malayalam / Indic typography

· Research: user interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, journey mapping, personas

· Mobile-first responsive design; PWA patterns; low-bandwidth and low-literacy considerations

· Operator screens (counter billing), booking calendars, dashboards, AI-assistant interfaces

· AI-assisted design workflow with design judgement over the output

Good to have

Motion design (Framer Motion / Lottie); Hotjar / GA4; HEART metrics; government design standards (UX4G).

Interview – In person only

· Process: offline test, technical interview and walkthrough of your own work – same day. Timed design task on a booking or billing flow (desktop + mobile) in Figma; interview on design-system and accessibility decisions; portfolio walkthrough.

· Bring your own laptop at the time of interview (16 GB RAM, SSD, with tools for your track installed)

· Bring originals: photo ID, education certificates, appointment and relieving letters, EPFO service history

Eligibility

· Immediate joiner within 7 days of selection with no pending notice period

· Willing to work on-site in Thiruvananthapuram

· Daily, verified use of AI tools in your work

· Portfolio link mandatory
