Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Typist with proven professional experience and excellent command over both Malayalam and English. The primary role will be to accurately transcribe and digitize educational content from various formats (handwritten notes, PDFs, audio files) into well-formatted digital documents. This role is crucial for our content creation pipeline, and the ideal candidate must possess exceptional typing speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail in both languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Type and digitize academic content, including study notes, question papers, and answer keys, in both Malayalam and English.
• Format documents according to Prepscale's style guides, ensuring consistency in fonts, headings, and layout.
• Listen to audio or video lectures and transcribe the content accurately.
• Proofread and edit typed material to ensure it is free of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
• Handle complex formatting, including tables, special symbols, and basic mathematical equations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and editors to clarify any doubts regarding the source material.
• Organize and manage files effectively, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Mandatory professional experience as a Typist, Data Entry Operator, or in a similar role.
• Exceptional typing speed and high accuracy in both English and Malayalam.
• Proficiency with Malayalam typing software/keyboards (e.g., ISM, Inscript).
• Excellent command of both languages, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and other word-processing software.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum educational qualification: Plus Two / Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in typing academic, scientific, or technical content.
• A typing speed of over [e.g., 40 WPM] in English and [e.g., 30 WPM] in Malayalam.
• Familiarity with basic mathematical and scientific notations.
