Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of GST and TDS deductions, along with experience in filing statutory returns. This role requires accuracy, accountability, and a strong understanding of financial operations specific to the jewelry sector. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate ledger maintenance Oversee GST and TDS calculations, deductions, and timely filings (monthly, quarterly, annually) Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L statements Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and stock ledgers regularly Monitor inventory valuation and cost management in coordination with the stock team Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and government regulations Handle vendor payments, receivables, and taxation documentation Generate periodic financial and tax reports for management review Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter or equivalent is an advantage) Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the jewelry industry Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and relevant accounting software Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and time management abilities
