Job title: Manager – BIM 360 Platform Location: Kolkata Terms: Full Time Requirements: Immediate About the role: Core Responsibilities: BIM 360 Platform Management The primary focus is on setting up, managing, and maintaining the Autodesk BIM 360 (or Autodesk Construction Cloud) platform as the project's Common Data Environment (CDE). Platform Setup & Configuration: o Establish the CDE: Configure the BIM 360 platform modules (Docs, Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Field, etc.) to align with project workflows and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). o Security & Access Control: Define and manage user permissions, roles, and access rights across all project teams (client, designers, contractors, subconsultants) to ensure secure information sharing. Standards & Protocol Implementation: o Enforce the BEP: Ensure strict adherence to the project's BIM Execution Plan, organizational, and international standards (like ISO 19650) for naming conventions, folder structures, model origins, and data quality. o Workflow Automation: Implement and optimize BIM 360 workflows for document control, RFI (Request for Information) management, submittals, and approvals. Model Coordination & Data Management This involves managing the integrated, multi-disciplinary model—a particularly challenging task on an underground metro project. Federated Model Management: o Model Hosting & Aggregation: Oversee the hosting and aggregation of BIM models from all disciplines (e.g., Civil 3D for tunnels/tracks, Revit for stations/MEP) into a central federated model within BIM 360 Model Coordination. o Clash Detection & Resolution: Execute or manage automated and manual clash detection routines, typically using BIM 360 Model Coordination and Navisworks. Lead coordination meetings to resolve all spatial, structural, and services clashes early in the design phase. 4D/5D Integration Support: o Collaborate with the planning and commercial teams to link the coordinated BIM model data with the project schedule (4D) and cost data (5D) within BIM 360 or integrated tools. Data Quality & Handover: o Conduct regular model quality checks (Model Health Checks) to ensure models are accurate, contain the required asset data (COBie, asset tags, etc.), and are ready for downstream use, particularly for asset management (O&M handover).
