Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Research and Development Assistant located in Jaipur. The R&D Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, performing laboratory tasks, analyzing data, and developing new skincare products. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as assisting in formulation development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with team members to innovate effective skincare products. Key Responsibilities • Assist in developing new formulations for skincare, haircare, bath, and body products. • Conduct lab-scale batching, stability testing, and quality evaluations of formulations. • Prepare product samples and maintain proper labeling and documentation. • Conduct physical, chemical, and sensorial testing on raw materials and finished products. • Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, test reports, and development records. • Research latest cosmetics trends, raw materials, and new technologies. • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (FDA/ISO/GMP standards). • Coordinate with production, packaging, and quality teams to support product scale-up. • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory environment. Qualifications Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, or related field. Skills: • Strong understanding of cosmetic raw materials and formulation basics. • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. • Good knowledge of lab equipment handling and SOP procedures. • Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications • Prior internship or experience in a cosmetics/dermatology/personal care laboratory. • Familiarity with stability protocols, microbial testing basics, and regulatory standards. • Knowledge of ingredients safety, INCI, and concentration guidelines.
