Role & responsibilities Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all electrical systems, machinery, and control panels in the forging plant. Troubleshoot electrical issues in forging hammers, induction furnaces, hydraulic presses, CNC/PLC-controlled equipment, and automation lines. Supervise and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems. Coordinate with the production and mechanical teams to minimize equipment downtime. Install, commission, and upgrade electrical components or systems as needed. Monitor and optimize power consumption, support energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and company policies. Work closely with external vendors or contractors for service and equipment procurement. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation. Support in audits (internal, ISO, safety, etc.) and documentation. Preferred candidate profile Mandatory: Diploma or bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering . Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance in a forging or heavy engineering manufacturing environment. Experience in operating and maintaining: Forging hammers Induction furnaces Hydraulic presses PLC/SCADA-based machines Power distribution systems (HT/LT panels)
Role & responsibilities New Product Development. A) Manufacturing of CNC dies for Hammer, Press & Upsetter Forging Processes. B) Preparation of all CNC Programs (eg. Finisher, Blocker, Roller, Fuller, Draw, Bender, Swagger, Top & Bot Die layout, Coining Dies, Trim Die, Trim Punch) for development jobs as well as for revised jobs from 3D models to actual Dies on CNC Machine. C) Implementation of Corrective & Preventive Actions on all CNC Programs as per revised models before next die run. D) Inspection of all manufacturing parameters time to time to keep programs with updated revisions. E) Need to work on development of CAM process to reduce time lose, tool wear, machine time of life. F) Maintaining all manufacturing data sequentially with CAM sheet & supporting all records. G) Preparing machining programs for maintenance models, machine models like Bolster, Cassette, Hard plate, Reduce roller etc. Engineering Change. A) Preparation of all CNC Programs as per ECN change model & maintain cam sheet & supporting record as per ECN Value Addition & Value Engineering Project. (VAVE) Need to work on development of CAM process to reduce time lose, tool wear, machine time of life. Preferred candidate profile 1.About 2-3 year experience in Cam Programming 2.Should have good knowledge of Machining process & Tool 3. Should have hands on experience in forging or automotive industries.
