Company Description TRADDEN Africa is a digital B2B trade platform designed to power Africa’s intra-continental commerce. Built for SMEs, township businesses, and cross-border suppliers, the platform ensures secure trade by connecting verified buyers and sellers through smart contracts, escrow-backed payments, and integrated logistics. Leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), TRADDEN supports regional trade through mobile-first tools, multilingual accessibility, and partnerships with trusted courier and financial institutions. Role Description This is a freelance contract remote role for a Blockchain Smart Contract Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing smart contracts, managing and developing decentralized applications (DApps), ensuring security practices are followed, and maintaining blockchain systems. The developer will work closely with other team members to integrate blockchain solutions and support the platform’s secure and efficient operation. Qualifications Proficiency in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency development Experience in Cryptography and ensuring secure transaction processes Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience with smart contract frameworks such as Solidity and Ethereum Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting Experience with decentralized applications (DApps) is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Send your application, together with your updated resume to: sibusiso@tradden.co.za before 14 November 2025.
