Description Are you a highly skilled and passionate Accounting Manager ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic and energetic Service Centre team in Bangalore. As our Accounting Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a global technology company focused on embedded computing and IoT. Roles & Responsibilities Coordinate with international affiliates to facilitate period-end closing activities Prepare monthly standalone financial statements in accordance with company accounting and financial guidelines Ensure timely closure of books of accounts by posting various monthly closing entries and performing necessary reconciliations Perform comprehensive general accounting duties, including managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable(AP) and booking of accruals Prepare and post journal entries accurately Conduct thorough general ledger reconciliations and maintain detailed balance sheet schedules Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Prepare VAT records, manage payments, and file returns in compliance with regulations Develop, implement, and regularly update process documentation and checklists for all accounting activities to ensure consistency and efficiency Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate eliminations and consolidation entries Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and explanations Provide support for various accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the finance department About You You possess extensive expertise in general accounting for this hands-on role You have a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices You have an inherent critical attention to details You can follow instructions precisely while also working independently, accurately and skilled in establishing priorities You are highly motivated and take the initiative, volunteering for new challenges and demonstrating ownership. You enjoy problem-solving and tackling complex challenges You communicate clearly, concisely, and efficiently with diverse teams, both locally and globally Skills 5+ years of experience as an accounting manager, with increasing levels of responsibility Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance / accounting, or a related field (or equivalent qualification) Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other commonly used software Good project management skills (Jira) Excellent English skills – oral, reading and writing Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and efficient manner with multiple support teams, both locally and globally. As a Key Accounts Manager, you will support customers across India, helping them bring their products to market faster with our solutions. With your enthusiasm and drive, you will connect with engineers and project leaders, propose value-adding solutions, and act as a bridge between their needs and our technical experts. Your strong communication skills will help you build a solid network, maintain customer relationships, and relay their feedback to our product and application teams. Expected Outcomes Grow the customer base and increase revenue in your assigned Indian territory by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and closing high-value deals that align with Toradex’s growth objectives. Consult, support, and win design-in projects by engaging inbound leads and proactively reaching out to target accounts, understanding their technical needs, and positioning Toradex solutions as the preferred choice for their embedded applications. Ensure customer success during development by actively supporting technical evaluations, coordinating with internal experts to resolve blockers, and guiding customers toward timely and successful product integration. Maintain and expand business with existing customers by forecasting demand, tracking project maturity and production status, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and ongoing collaboration. Engage with global companies operating technology, design, and software centres in India by serving as Toradex’s local presence. Promote Toradex solutions through strategic on-site visits, workshops, and presentations, influencing design decisions and building strong relationships with key technical stakeholders. Sales Profile Passionate about helping customers turn their ideas into real products using our solutions and services. Solution-oriented with a hands-on approach to addressing technical challenges based on customer requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly across all organizational levels. Proactively identifies and mitigates risks in customer projects, such as ambiguous or shifting requirements. Business-oriented self-starter with a strong drive to take initiative and deliver high-impact results. Collaborative team player who involves colleagues to successfully manage complex opportunities. Drive internal resources and priorities wisely by qualifying opportunities with clear business case support. Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional local language skills are a strong advantage. Technical Understanding Comfortable discussing technology-related topics and learning how embedded computing fits into different applications. Curious and willing to explore technical products, even without a formal engineering background. Familiar with general technology concepts (e.g., processors, devices, software updates, connectivity).
