Title Software Quality Principal Engineer

Our Software Quality Engineering team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards for our next-generation software. We conduct a variety of quality control tests and analyses to guarantee that our software meets and exceeds end-user requirements. As a Software Quality Principal Engineer in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in debugging software products, developing test plans, documenting system tests, analyzing results, and providing constructive feedback to developers. Your responsibilities will include selecting testing specifications for new products, ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards, and collaborating with Product Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be involved in developing, revising, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on product requirements. In this role, you will contribute to test automation activities by coding in current languages, developing new test methodologies, providing specifications for test case automation, and ensuring timely delivery of subsystems. You will also be responsible for authoring and executing test cases for both manual and automated tests. Key Requirements: - Deep understanding of File Systems and File Protocols (CIFS/NFS) with experience in Storage (NAS) Testing - Proficiency in software testing methodologies and lifecycle - Strong coding abilities in Python and experience in automation development - Proficient in different Linux OS environments - Experience working in an Agile Development model Desired Skills: - Familiarity with scripting languages - 7-10 years of related experience Joining Dell Technologies means being part of a dynamic team where your contributions can make a real impact.
