Role Overview: As a Project Scientist or Project Associate at the University of Delhi's Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research, you will be involved in cutting-edge research in the field of Bioinformatics and Biochemistry. This project is focused on the Bioinformatics Centre (SIC) of DBT in New Delhi. Key Responsibilities: - For Project Scientist-I: - Guide research students on the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods - Teach and oversee the operations of the BIC facility at ACBR - For Project Associate: - Work on project objectives related to bioinformatics software, especially in drug design and development Qualifications Required: - For Project Scientist-I: - Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry or related subject, or Masters degree in Engineering/Biomedical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution - Desirable Experience: Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data analysis - For Project Associate: - Essential Qualification: M.Sc./B.Tech. in Bioinformatics/Biomedical/Biochemistry or related fields with NET/GATE or equivalent examination - Desirable Experience: Experience in bioinformatics software, particularly in drug design development, knowledge of PERL, Python, etc. Additional Details: The positions are temporary and terminable at any time without notice.
