About time.money Karat Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd is a SEBI Registered Investment Advisory firm having registration number INA200015219 time.money is a wealth tech platform under Karat Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd helping investors win financially through disciplined, long-term wealth building. Our approach combines behavioural insights with technology—think AI-powered conversations, goal-based planning, and a unified wealth dashboard. We are bootstrapped, growing, and building for a large market with high visibility. The Role You will be our first Product Manager, owning the entire platform end-to-end. Work directly with the Founders and our team of 8-10, shaping the product that will help millions understand their investing behaviour, track their net worth, and reach their financial goals. This is a high-ownership role where your decisions will directly impact what we build and how users experience it. What You Will Do • Own the product end-to-end — You are the first PM. That means you shape the product DNA, not inherit someone else's decisions. Full ownership of roadmap, prioritisation, and what ships. • Define what success looks like — Set and own the metrics that matter: activation rates, first investment completion, retention, engagement, NPS. You'll be measured on outcomes, not output. • Turn ideas into specs engineers can build from — Write PRDs that are clear on scope, edge cases, and trade-offs. Know when to cut corners and when to get it right. • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering — You won't write code, but understand technical constraints well enough to have real conversations about architecture, feasibility, and timelines. Participate in sprint planning and unblock the team when needed. • Shape the user experience with design — Partner with UI/UX to craft flows that make sense for Indian investors—whether they are first-time SIP investors, lapsed users returning after years, or active goal-trackers. Set up A/B tests to validate what's working. • Understand investor behaviour deeply — This is core to what we do. You will dig into why users make irrational money decisions, what builds trust, what triggers anxiety. Design features that nudge better financial behaviour, not just transactions. • Talk to users regularly — Run interviews and surveys tied to feature cycles. Understand how people think about their money, what confuses them, and what would make them trust us with their wealth. • Own activation and retention, not just features — It is not enough to ship. You will obsess over why users drop off, what gets them to their first investment, and what brings them back. • Work with compliance and security — We handle sensitive financial data. You will work closely with compliance to ensure features meet SEBI requirements while staying user-friendly. You should also think through data privacy, security implications, and DPDP Act compliance as part of product design—not as an afterthought. • Know the market — Track what competitors (brokers, advisory platforms, fintech apps) are doing. Identify gaps we can own. • Drive launches end-to-end — GTM isn't someone else's job. You will coordinate product launches across content, social, and partnerships. • Build the internship program — Help us attract and develop young talent across the company. What We Are Looking For • 4-7 years in product management — Actual PM roles, not adjacent functions. You have owned a product, shipped features, and dealt with the consequences of your prioritisation decisions. • Built consumer-facing investment products for Indian users — You understand what it takes to get Indian investors to trust an app with their money. Experience with Mutual Funds, Stocks, Crypto, or Insurance products. B2B or payments experience won't cut it. • Web app experience — We are building for web first. You should have experience building consumer-facing web applications and understand what makes a great browser-based product experience. • Comfortable with data, not necessarily SQL — You should be able to dig into Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools yourself. Set up funnels, interpret cohort data, spot anomalies. If you need an analyst to pull every number for you, this isn't the role. • Clear written communication — You will write specs that engineers build from and documents that leadership reads. Ambiguity causes chaos in small teams. • Genuinely self-directed — We won't tell you what to research, which users to talk to, or when to revisit the roadmap. If you need that structure, a larger company might be a better fit. • Security and privacy awareness — We will be handling sensitive financial data. You should understand the basics of product security, data privacy principles, and be familiar with regulations like the DPDP Act. You don't need to be a security engineer, but you should know enough to ask the right questions and build privacy into product design. • Aware of financial regulations — You don't need to be an expert, but you should know that SEBI, RBI, and IRDAI exist and be willing to learn how they affect what we build. Nice to Have • Experience building products from scratch (0→1), not just optimising existing ones • Worked with Indian investors specifically—understands their behaviour, trust barriers, and financial literacy levels • Interest in behavioural finance—why people make irrational money decisions, how biases affect investing, what builds long-term financial discipline • Experience with vernacular or multilingual product experience • Background in cybersecurity, data protection, or privacy-first product design How You Will Be Measured • User activation and first investment completion rates • Retention and engagement metrics • User satisfaction (NPS, in-product feedback, support ticket trends) • Feature adoption and usage patterns • Product velocity without compromising quality What We Offer • Competitive salary • Health, accident, and life insurance • Access to paid AI tools • Flexible startup culture with real opportunities to learn and grow quickly • High-impact work on a product built for millions Details Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru (in-office, no remote) Work Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred Start: ASAP Apply via LinkedIn Easy Apply.
