Role Description  This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Scope 2D Animator with a passion for storytelling and character creation at Thrinethra Animation Studios . We’re seeking an animator who’s not just an animator but a visual architect — someone who can design and animate characters, environments, and scenes from the ground up . You will work closely with the team lead to bring stories to life, using your skills to visually interpret scripts, contribute to world-building, and execute expressive, high-quality animations that feel handcrafted and full of life. Responsibilities Design and animate original 2D characters, backgrounds, and scenes entirely from scratch. Translate written scripts and story concepts into animated sequences. Craft expressive motion and emotional storytelling through body language and timing. Build assets that suit a variety of storytelling styles, including fantasy and mythology. Collaborate with writers and artists to maintain creative consistency across scenes. Manage your own workflow and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in 2D animation and character creation Strong proficiency in animation tools Animation and Motion Graphics skills Experience in Storyboarding Strong Communication skills Passion for storytelling and character creation Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or related field ( Optional ) Hands-on ability to design characters, backgrounds, and layouts from scratch (not using pre-built templates) A creative mindset with a deep understanding of visual storytelling Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and movement Ability to work independently and accept feedback in a collaborative setting A portfolio or showreel showcasing original animation work is mandatory Why Join Thrinethra Animation Studios?
