Job Title: Hospital Management Trainee Location: [Tamluk, West Bengal] Department: Nursing Home Administration / Operations Reports To: Hospital Administrator / Medical Superintendent Job Summary: The Hospital Management Trainee will assist the hospital administration in day-to-day operations, patient service management, human resource coordination, and quality control. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to hospital functions including patient care coordination, billing, inventory, and compliance with healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising hospital activities. Support in maintaining records, reports, and correspondence. Learn to manage departments such as reception, billing, housekeeping, and HR. Patient Care Coordination Ensure smooth patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Handle patient queries and improve patient satisfaction. Coordinate between medical, nursing, and support staff. Operations & Resource Management Monitor hospital supplies, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules. Help in procurement and inventory control. Support waste management and infection control initiatives. Quality & Compliance Assist in implementing hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH/NABL standards. Participate in audits, documentation, and compliance tracking. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in patient data handling. Human Resource & Training Assistance Help organize staff duty rosters and attendance. Assist in new employee orientation and training sessions. Coordinate communication between departments. Financial & Billing Coordination Learn hospital billing and insurance claim processes. Support cost analysis and financial documentation. Observe revenue cycle management systems. Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly operational reports. Identify process improvement opportunities. Present progress and findings to hospital management. Qualification & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hospital Management / Healthcare Administration / MBA in Hospital Management. Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant internship experience. Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Good computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software). Problem-solving and leadership potential. Willingness to learn and adapt to hospital operations. Work Environment: Full-time, on-site position in hospital premises. Rotational duties or shifts may apply depending on department needs.
