Company Description Third Layer Studio is a creative studio specializing in Video Production, Personal Branding, and AI Automation. Role Assist and execute video shoots across brand films, social content, and commercial formats. At an intermediate level, this person should move beyond just "knowing how to use a camera." They are the architects of the visual atmosphere. What you’ll do Operate cameras and lenses across different setups (Sony, Nikon, Canon, etc.) Lighting Mastery (The X-Factor): This is the biggest differentiator. At an intermediate level, you expected to understand: Three-Point Lighting: Mastery of Key, Fill, and Backlighting. Motivated Lighting: Making studio lights look like they are coming from natural sources (windows, lamps). High-Key vs. Low-Key: Knowing when to make a scene "bright and airy" (commercials) or "dark and moody" (narrative/documentary). Camera Language: They must understand how movement impacts psychology Technical Workflow: Responsibility for the "Digital Imaging Technician" (DIT) side—choosing the right codecs (ProRes, RAW), frame rates (24fps for cinema, 60/120fps for slow-mo), and managing exposure via histograms and false color. Work with the content director during pre-production and shoots Handle gimbal, handheld, and basic movement setups Support on-set workflow and footage management What we’re looking for Solid understanding of camera fundamentals Strong interest in lighting and visual storytelling Ability to take direction and collaborate on set Attention to detail and discipline during shoots
