About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Develop curriculum and curriculum-aligned knowledge application type content (for example, case-based, source-based, assertion/reasoning) for various high school math topics, including but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. 2. Design practice problems and step-by-step solutions to help students understand complex mathematical concepts. 3. Develop engaging online quizzes and assessments to evaluate student understanding. 4. Collaborate with educators to ensure that materials align with national and state standards for middle/high school math education. 5. Ensure content progression is logical and facilitates a deep understanding of mathematical principles from basic to advanced topics. 6. Guide the multimedia team to create instructional videos, graphics, and animations to visually demonstrate math concepts, ensuring that videos are clear, concise, and engaging. 7. Edit and update content as needed, incorporating feedback from teachers, students, and peers. 8. Develop interactive online resources, including problem-solving puzzles and quizzes. 9. Use feedback and analytics to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of the materials. 10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in educational technology, math pedagogy, and curriculum standards. 11. Research new math topics and teaching methods to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging for students.
