Role Description This is a temporary on-site role in India for a Venture Scout at The StepUp Ventures. As a Venture Scout, you will identify and evaluate potential startup ideas, conduct market research, and assess the viability of project proposals. You will act as a liaison between aspiring entrepreneurs and the organization's mentor network, facilitating valuable connections and support. This role involves working collaboratively with the program team to onboard and guide startups through the structured program, providing insights and contributing to their growth and development in the ecosystem. Qualifications Strong research and analytical skills for identifying and evaluating startups and market trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with entrepreneurs and mentors. Organizational and project management skills to coordinate program activities effectively. Passion for supporting startups and contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. Ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines and goals. Prior experience in startup ecosystems, venture capital, or business development is a plus. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
