Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Shopify Developer based in Srinagar. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores according to client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include building custom themes, integrating third-party applications and APIs, optimizing website performance, implementing UX/UI design best practices, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with design and content teams to engineer scalable, high-conversion platforms that align with client goals. Qualifications Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language) Experience in Shopify development, including custom theme development, Shopify Plus, and third-party app integrations Skills in performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting technical issues Knowledge of technical SEO and ability to implement SEO best practices within Shopify stores Familiarity with eCommerce UX/UI design, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate with clients Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Prior experience with Agile development processes is a plus Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
