Only the museum is open for general public. Another wing which is hotel is also there. The museum has a great collection but detailed placards were few and far between. There are guides available though

Nothing great. Present maharaja boast of showing his car collection. Actually I feel these maharajas shook hands with British to flourish. They did not fight any war. Very rich car collections.

The museum is very small and not worth the price of tickets. However the construction of palace is inspired by western architecture it seems and also has a collection of vintage cars.

Very poor, it's only a trap to earn money. Maximum portion is restricted for hotel, only ground floor of little portion is accessible. Perfectly waste of time and money.

The kings have opened a section of the palace for public. This is one of newest palace in India built in 20th century only, before 1947, i.e. before independence. Being recent, it's still in proper use, partially converted to a luxury hotel. Worth a visit once.
