Role: Digital Journalist, Video and Image Location: Noida (Hybrid Working) Experience: 1-3 years Position Type: Full-Time (5 days in-office, 1 remote, 1 weekly off) About the Role: Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for engaging and informing audiences? This role combines both video and image-based storytelling, offering a dynamic opportunity to craft compelling content. You will be responsible for designing static posts, carousels, and text-overlay videos, ensuring a seamless end-to-end process from ideation to creation and social media distribution. This includes scouting, ideating, scripting, editing, and publishing content that captivates audiences. Proficiency in Canva for both image and video editing is mandatory. This role is ideal for creative storytellers with a passion for journalism and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-evolving digital landscape. Key Responsibilities: Research and ideate impactful stories across beats such as trending, politics, health, business, finance, sustainability, and human interest. Craft engaging and informative narratives for both video and image-based content. Design and edit high-quality visuals and videos using Canva to ensure clarity, engagement, and a polished final product. Distribute content across social media platforms, optimizing for algorithms to maximize reach and engagement. Collaborate with senior journalists and participate in training and upskilling sessions to refine storytelling and content creation skills. What You Bring: Passion for visual storytelling, journalism, and content creation. Proficiency in Canva for both image and video editing (mandatory). High learning agility and familiarity with social media trends and tools (training provided). A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
